Currently, when the cope tool is activated, users are first prompted to select the members, and the dialog opens only after cope is applied.

Would be better to reverse this workflow—launch the dialog first, allow users to define all required parameters or select a predefined template, and then prompt them to select the members. This approach would make it easier to define inputs upfront and effectively use predefined templates.
